I'm a bit younger (21), but i believe i have always had a pretty good grasp on my life. I did the same thing, i thought it was pointless to waste time with a relationship that would go nowhere. I dated a girl off an on and really didnt have the maturity to realize she was perfect for me. Anyways I am really happy and led a very similar path as you have. I would suggest you do not lose hope, because quality girls are really out there
