On a more serious note, take your time and don't worry about it too much. Someone will most likely come along when you least expect it and knock you on your ass.

You'll know it when it happens.

I never had to chase gals in high school or college (the only exception to this is my wife); for a number of reasons they fell into my lap. It wasn't until I met a particular Spanish lady late in college that I discovered the difference between a "girl" and a "woman". I dated plenty of girls and yes, they were fun, but most were missing a key element or two that would hold my interest and keep me captivated. The "club gals" and "party gals" were a load of fun out on the town and in the sack, but I'd end up slitting my wrists having to put up with their baggage and complete lack of intelligence for the most part. Past the physical attraction, there wasn't much else to base a lasting relationship on and let me tell you, if you're looking long-term, there better be a HELL OF A LOT MORE to a woman than just a pretty face and a nice rack.

I had the luck and blessing of running across someone that was my equal or better in every way and someone that was (and still is to this day) a constantly pleasant surprise; stunningly beautiful, very classy, intelligent, experienced, accomplished and wise, delicate yet tough as Hell, headstrong yet pensive and flexible when the time called for it. Out of it all, she didn't BS; she called it like she saw it, which was a totally alien experience I've ever had with the opposite sex. I chased this dame like no tomorrow because I KNEW I'd regret it for the rest of my life if I didn't.

They are few and far between, but they ARE out there. You're most likely not going to run into them at bars or clubs, though. I'm banking that you are looking in the wrong places. It's kind of like holding the expectation that you'll run across a diamond in a sewer; you don't usually find them hanging out there, but I must admit that you occasionally do, though.

Don't ask me where you find them, either: my wife ran into me through a friend that knew I could help her out with a headlight problem on her car. Luck or destiny was my saving grace.

Patience; you're still young. Youth is something to be enjoyed while you have it. You damn-sure can't get it back.
