We had one here sitting on top of the computer monitor and/or keyboard for years. My son moved out, things were rearranged and its been misplaced in the shuffle.
Once we find it , I'll post a picture.
The model is of the Mondeo, silver in colour, with a retracting plastic sunroof (manual retracting). I cannot remember the manufacture of the toy, but it wasn't "Hot Wheels".
I used to look it over , wishing I had the real thing and had planned on renting one on a trip to Germany last year, but ended up getting the Mercedes C180 Kompressor instead.
That was a nice ride.

Paul's Model Art which is sometimes labeled (series?) as Mini-Champs makes a 98+ Bluish Mondeo and the Silver one previously mentioned.
They are from Germany.
I found them on Ebay.

I have a green Mondeo I got off eBay (thanks for frenchblueC2 for finding the auction  ) a couple years ago. Incredibly detailed, you can see the shifter, dash vents and everything.
