Nowhere close to the Carerra GT or Enzo!

As a matter of fact, it was tenths of a second slower than those two... So YES it DOES run with them.

In that stratsospheric performance realm, tenths of a second might as well be an eternity.

There was one of those "matercard"-like photos in a past issue of car craft that said-

"Premium Unleaded- 2.25$ a Gallon.....Ford new GT 150,000$...Having the whole staff of (dealer name here-I don't remember) watching you do a burnout in the parking lot after you've bought a GT? Priceless..."

It shows a GT doing this huge smoke show, with the staff in the background cheering...nice to have money.

One would certainly hope so. They're only $26K anyhow.

Ummm we're not talking about drag cars here . With the same driver in all cars the GT is considerably slower than the other cars mentioned. Have a look here the biggest problem being that it's American. Are all your roads straight down there? J/K .

Wait a second. The GT is the fifth fastest car EVER run around Top Gear's track, and if you exempt the Atom from the list (which is an easy thing to do seeing as how it's barely a car), it's fourth. And it's behind ONLY the Enzo, McMerc, and Carrera GT, and AHEAD of anything that even remotely compares to it in sticker price.

I think being only a second off the pace of a McMerc is worth saving almost $300K, myself.

We just got our 2nd one in at the dealership I work at and I must say that it is such a sweet car. I watched it drive around the lot and down the street and man was I drooling. Must be nice to be rich!! It is kinda unreal to see it driving down the street.
