Yes, the early examples went at a premium but the fact is they are not going for the same price now. So kindly STFU.

AutoWeek is full of advertisements from exotic car dealerships and there are at least 2-3 ads, sometimes more than a half-dozen, in it every week for GTs, all of which are well over $250,000 new. And they regularly change, so it's not like they're advertising the same one over and over again because they can't sell it.

Looking through it right now, there's a dealership selling their 3rd GT (previously sold #78 and #291 -- not giving the number of this one) for $275,000 (Chicago Area). Another Private Seller, selling a used one (no miles given), 'discounted for immediate sale' to $225,000 (Tampa Bay area).

Looking through Ebay not a single one is under $220,000, some are up to $300,000... Oh, well except for that one where you're buying one that "will be made before the end of 2005" for $185,000.

A local Ford dealer a few miles away has one in his showroom for $300,000.

Yes, the value of them is going down. But it is still WAY above $160,000.

If you know where you can pick up GTs for $160,000 you need to get into the business of flipping them bad boys. You'd be set for life in a month. Anyone selling them for that price is stupid when the market is clamoring for them well over $200,000. Particularly a dealer in Beverly Hills, probably the single most concentrated area of wealth in the nation. He could list them on Ebay for $60K more and turn them in a week.
