That is a certified dumbass.
or certified has more money than he knows to do with. if i had that money and wanted one RIGHT NOW, who cares.
I feel you on that but the fact is if someome that could afford it wanted it and knew how to negotiate they could have it for less.
One does not "negotiate" on a GT. There are buyers out there willing and able to pay over $300,000 for them so no dealer in their right mind is going to sell one for much less than that. It's not like they can sell one for a little bit and just order up another one. They're going to sell the one they've got for as much as they can -- and if people are willing and able to pay $300,000+ then that's what a dealer is going to charge.
As for the "if you pay in cash" comment -- that's all you can pay for one. Ford ain't gonna finance a car of that price. Particularly one that's highly over-valued and inflated in the marketplace.
As a matter of fact, yes they will finance a GT. There is a lot of people that can afford it in cash but would rather finance knowing that they can invest and make more in interest on their money then the interest on the car is. Please do some research. Next you are going to tell me that no one has ever financed a new Ferrari. Fact is my dad was a sales manager at a exotic car dealership. Most people actually lease.
Also any one that pays 300K for a GT is a FUGGIN IDIOT. You can go down to Ford of Bev. Hills and have one for no more than $160k if you are serious(they had 2 last time I drove by). MSRP is $135K and if you ordered one that would be the EXACT price you would pay. Granted if you want one off the dealership lot you will pay a little more but not 170K over MSRP. Maybe for the first examples but not anymore.
