I bought the car in August of 2002 with just under 12K on it. In 2.66 years, the car has only had an additional 17K put on it, and almost of those miles are highway miles.
However, I've had to replace a lot of things on the car, despite its low mileage. So far I've replaced the tires, struts, strut bearings, exhaust from the back of the cat the the rear of the car, the stereo (it went bad), all 4 speakers (they blew out), the antenna, and had the car in the shop several times for loose electrical connections. Funny thing is that this stuff all went within 5k after I bought it. Ever since 9 months after owning the car, it has never had one other thing go wrong with it.
