If you guys are wondering why gas prices are so high, its because the US (and most of Canada) is entrenched in this mentality.
It's over a buck a litre and there's *STILL* stupid moms driving their Excursions to Safeway
No one in their right mind is going to sell a $35,000 vehicle because gas is 80-cents a gallon more. It might deter people from buying them in the first place, but if they have the money for the vehicle I don't think the gas bill will be that big a deal for them.
