i was just watching the new right now and they showed various gas stations around the LA area and their prices. The most expensive they found was somewhere in downtown LA and was $3.11 for 91 premium, just over $3 for 89, and almost $3 for 87. (couldnt catch them all as i was in a state of shock!)

yesterday i was in Hollywood getting my alignment done, at a bitchin shop, and had to get gas. i went to ARCO, the cheapest gas in town, and paid $2.70 for 91 premium. thankfully, its much cheaper where I live. its at about $2.60 or so right now.

the news also said that CA has now surpassed Hawaii as the most expensive state to buy gas in. yeah! if the Lakers are out of the playoffs we might as well be #1 in something!

ps summer is still to come which traditionally jacks the prices up even more.

You should move there. That way you could sponge off the government instead of your parents.

Another tired and old California joke from our resident Wal-Mart theologian.

Glad our air quality has improved drastically under all of these measures the Commie Govt. has put in place and paying a little extra for quality air is a small price to pay.

Yeah, I can tell your air quality is crystal clear from watching KTLA in the morning. Don't piss on my leg and tell me it's raining.

And what the [censored] does where I work have anything to do with the price of tea in China.

Our gas prices are rocketing up, too. On my side of Phoenix, which tends to be cheaper than most of the city, 87 is at ~$2.25 right now.
