I got word yesterday that I have been selected as amember of my department's SWAT team. I interveiwed/tested a few months back,and there was a recent opening. I get all my equipment issued in the next week or so! I'm pretty happy since there are only 14 members out of our 430+ person department. I work for Dayton Police,and we currently have a large joint team with Montgomery County Sheriff's Office. I'll be one of 3 noobs,so I'll probably drive the armored vehicle or something like that until after SWAT school in October.
