Awsome. I am currently in college for criminal justice to be a cop, and want to join FBI SWAT one day. Congrats, good luck!

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it's the Colt..I haven't seen it yet. My partner is on the team as well and he told me the models. I think the H&K is a much cooler looking gun. It shoots single,2 shot burst, and full auto! The truck is a POS..but we use it to run sh*t over, this is something I am good at.(grew up on a farm) Rod

Excellent!! Congratulations, man. I was in Dayton at Dayton Progress working on the 26th. Next time I'm gonna be up there, I'll let you know so you can warn the general public! Stay safe, and it sounds like maybe you need to start modding that armored vehicle, hee hee.

Cool, I was actually on duty a week ago assisting U.S.Marshall's looking for a doublre murder suspect wanted from New York. We got the guy in a vacant house and they did a SWAT callout. They shot about 30 rounds of gas into the house. It was sweet, there was not a window in the place that didn't have a gas round shot through it. They then threw in a triple chamber canister and he came running out crying. Good luck in the future.

CONGRATS!!! As someone who has been trying for 10 (!)+ years to get onto ANY Police Department, let me say that you are now officially the best of the best. What do you have issued as standard gear?? Does the Entry person carry something different than the rest of you (i.e. SPAS 12 shotgun, MP5PDW, etc)? What are the standard sidearms there??Just curious....

I would call Navy Seals the best of the best but I guess thats not really considered police task force. Swat is still awesome none the less.

Actually, the Delta force, SEAL Team 6 and the Isreali's PARA 76 are the best of the best...I meant in his Department. You can't be an idiot and qualify for that position.

Hey,I'm not in the same realm as the SEALS,etc. I would like to think we are the top of the department.Like I said earlier, there are only like 14 people on the team out of our 400+ person department. We all as a dept. carry .40 cal. Glocks, the swat team is preparing to go to .45 cal Glocks. There is a guy on the team that I went to the Academy with that was an Air Force PJ(Para-rescue)Alot of the team members are ex-military,or seasoned officers.
