Around here, and I hate to put it this way but it's true. The indians here steal cars to get from point a to point b. usually destroying them in the process. They steal old cars because they are easier to steal. We pay for thier kid's schooling in income tax, and they steal our stuff. Great system. 
We've got a similar problem to that around here. A classmate had his truck stolen out of the college parking lot. It was one of about 200 cars that the police recoverd off the Indian reservation that month. They'd steal the cars and then just distroy them back on the reservation.
