Looking for quality, not necesarrily too much bass seeing as im getting subs, but speakers that have the ability to go nice and loud and not distort.
id also like to be recommended a pair that are known to fit well into the fronts. I would much rather have a flush fit than have to worry about drilling new holes and whether they are truly int hat good, and worrying if they might clip the window on its way down.
I appreciate all that help, these stock speakers are pissing me off and hte infinity 6x9s i was planning to get for up front dont fit at All.
(for anyone thats been following my other posts, i moved the pioneer 6x9s into the back because they are a little more beat than i thought and the ones im getting for the fronts should be much better)

I just put in some R.Fosgate T1682C 6x8's and they are great, (powered by a RF550x and do not distort at all at high volumes).
They fit in the front and back. The windows do not hit them but you will need to re-drill some holes.

If you have the money, Boston Acoustics SL80 are sweet, and they come with the tweeter and midrange and crossover all on one 5x7 plate, they fit perfectly, and they sound great. They will be available from Crutchfield soon.

If you're willing to spend money for awesome sound quality, get some DLS R6A. I have them in my car and they sound freaking amazing. It was an immediate difference from the aftermarkets i had before, which weren't all that great, but they were ok.

Pioneer 3 way or Pioneer 4 way... 6x8's. They go pretty loud but if you play them too loud they bottom out. Just make sure your not trying to wake the neighbors with them and you'll be alright.
$80/pr

I recomend Alpine SPR-57LS Type R series. 300w max peak 60wrms. speaker link I have two sets of Alpine SPS-570A Type S. They were afordable replacements for my Pioneers. Cost about the same. Sound good off the amp, but had to wire aditional in-line tweeters on the front two because of the low pass filter on the amp I'm using. I'll upgrade to Type R later but I'm cool for now.
