Got $1200 for the Contour which was fine.

So long CEG it was fun while it lasted I'm done now, and done with car problems.

geez, i just realized you paid $4k more than i did for my 99 csvt i bought last year with just 16k miles on it. but at least you did buy the "sport" model, so that's kinda the same thing, isnt it?

HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA.

That sucks.

I would never go from a slow car to another slow car. In independent testings, my slow car beats one of those slow new calvailers. If buying a new car makes you happey (and removes you from CEG) thn good for u. Later, you'll look back at life, realize that you could have found some one that knows how to work on cars (cuz I know u don't) and used that money to keep the contour running and had A LOT leftover. Your loss, our gain!!!!!!!

90K with few/no issues...

To put it politely, you are an optimist beyond compare or one hell of a gambler that likes to buck long odds.

You are aware that you've just purchased the "Yugo" of the entire US automotive fleet, no?

Good luck and best wishes with the new ride; I sincerely hope you will need neither.

Congrats on the new car, I really hope you like it. It's a decent car for younger people. I'm sure you got a good deal on it, being a 2004 and all.

If I was going to replace a Contour with some economy car, and I wanted something that wouldn't give me a lot of problems, I would not replace it with a Cavalier. I would choose a Civic, Corolla, or even a Focus over a Cavalier. But, that's me. To each his own.

-Good Luck with the New Cavalier

Now all we need is for contour_phoenix_when () to sell his contour and buy a GMC Savanna and that's too fruit-loops gone!
