Don't stress out about the ivy league stuff. Find a good program, and network like hell once you are in. Look for a good non-profit to get involved in. Their Board's tend to have lots of important community people that you can network with, and these people can really help you out. Go to school in an area you are interested in working at. I'd rather go to a lower ranked(but still ranked well)school in the area I plan to be in. Ivy's are great, but a good school with great networking connections is better.
