so... what will actually be the better route to take

(2) t25's running off true duals
or
(1) t28 off the stock 2.5" exhaust
or
something different?

other questions:

1. how well does the trunk breath?
2. would 5-6 psi be beyond a tunable range on a 11.5:1 compression motor w/ 93 octane fuel?*
3. " 8-9 psi " " " w/ 110 octane fuel?*

*injectors, MAF, TB, fuel pump, will all be up-sized and car will be tuned

The easiest would be a single turbo and stock single exhaust routing.

1.

2. bwahahaha

3. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA cough, cough, hack, weez, thud...

Seriously though...

An intercooled turbo on 10 to 1 CR has to pull out over half of the timing on good 92-93 octane fuel.
10.5 would be rough. 11 would be crazy tough. 11.5 umm....

That's what I thought when I called "Streetflight", before they turned ADC. Not sure who answered the phone there, wasn't Keith or Chris, but he tried talking me into the SF turbo kit. I told him "not on my 11.2:1 3L". He insisted I'd have no problems. I was calling on getting a chip for my current setup, and needless to say I wasn't going to order from that guy.

Why not replace the gas tank with a fuel cell in the trunk. http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=4283&prmenbr=361

That would give tons of space to work with. Plus the turbo would double as a heater for the leather back seats.

The one thing I am thinking is, how is the oil supplied? Do they run a 8' braided steel line?

They feed the oil as per normal but because the turbo typically sits lower than the oil pan you need to use an electric oil pump to get it back to the pan.

They did eventually blow that motor up and scrapped the whole project car and idea of turbo'ing the Matrix due to it's high CR and the issues they encountered.
