Those oil-impregnated filters can be a real pain the butt. You HAVE to make sure that you do not over-oil those things, and that it properly dries before you put it back in. I'm not trying to say you're dumb, but you might want to pull that filter out and clean it just to make sure. Those filters can cause a lot more headaches than the few dollars it might save in gas over the years. I am sticking with my paper filter.



The filter is brand new...the only oil that is on it is from the factory (pre-oiled). Not to say during the oiling process the factory put too much oil on but...nonetheless I will try cleaning the TB in the next few days.
