I just got my csvt a few months ago and i am still finding little stuff the previous owner of the car did. Today i was looking over my intake closely because I am thinking about buying a new setup this week. Anyways while looking at the MAF adaptor I noticed that it had been installed upside down leaving an aprox 1/8-1/16 inch gap where it was allowing air to get into my intake without passing through the filter. Anyways now that ive fixed it what long term problems can i expect due to the air getting into the intake without being filtered? What aside from cleaing the MAF can I do to help/ prevent any more damage? the wierd thing about it is that the adaptor piece turned out to be an alluminum mirco, who would instal a mirco maf adaptor upside down?
