This weekend I installed a aussie intake pipe, maf adapted and K&N (Ru3530) on my SVT. Everything ran great for about an hour. The idle was perfect at right around 750 RPM's. Then out of no where my idle shot up to between 1800- 3000 RPMs. I checked for all leaks and cracks in any lines, NOTHING. It's almost as this turbulence occurs when the engine is warm. Now here is something else i found odd. The tube that you put the copper cap into, i forget what it's called? Anyway when it was idling high i removed it from the intake pipe, so it was hooked up to nothing and the idle went down

Anyway, it was functioning fine at one point now i have the accordian back on. Has anyone ever experienced this? Advice, opinions, expertise, thoughts, suggestions... lets hear em!
