I just got back from the Ford Dealership and getting my car  ....it had been in the shop for a new tranny and new front axle. I'm so happy. I haven't seen my car in more than a month. I feel like I felt, when I first drove an SVT for the first time.

Doin great...my problem with surging also seems to have subsided, but I will continue to monitor that. Shifting feels a little stiff, but I think it just needs to be broke in. Needs to be washed though...it's all dusty. Saw another SVT there receiving an Arospeed wing on it. I know the guy that owns it. Here is the wing he was getting put on it.

I hate those wings, but if he likes it thats all that matters! That reminds me, there is a guy that I go to Pellissippi with and he has a blk Contour sport w/a custom spoiler on it. I want to see if he would like to meet up w/us too. I use to see him all the time but now that I'm looking for him I never see him.

I MISS MY SVT!!!! Mine is in the shop for the same thing and I miss her! When I get my car back I will truely feel like it's brand new... again...

Is it notchy? If so that's how the 2000's feels when ever I play with it. Of course it's been wrecked and I can't exactly run around the block with it, but it does feel that way sitting in place.
Terry, I have the MTX-75 with the White plastic shift tower on top of the tranny. Is this the desired model with the least problems and easily fitting the LSD or is it the same as the 98-99 SVT's?

i need to take mine in for the tranny and other stuff. at least my warranty gives me a free rental for as long as the replacement stuff takes (only if it takes overnight repairs that is)...did u get a free rental or did u have a spare car?

It does feel notchy. Hopefully it isn't a problem. I got a rental for the whole time my car was outta commission (1 month, 1 week)...
