So I have an older IBM thinkpad laptop 600x. It has only 64mb of ram. I just use it to puts around with. I am going to add a 256mb chip than up load Winxp. My question is, is all laptop pc100 equal, or at least pretty much? I know some maybe faster and what not. The reason I ask is on pricewatch.com they have some memory ranging from $39 w/free ship on up to $100. On ebay IBM think pad memory goes for $90. I got this thing for free so I am not going to drop $100 into it. $40 ok now prob. What does everyone think? Tips sugesstions. Thanks
