Crap....I have Traffic Court on April Fools??? s**t.....Anyway, I understand what your wife was trying to do(If this ISN'T and April Fools joke or She hasn't inked a deal with the show "Overhauled") and I guess her heart was in the right place....Now you have an excuse to buy whatever "toy" you would like. Oh, and if she gives you grief about your choice and "not being consulted" say, "Yeah, just like you consulted me on the sale..." That would be kinda cool if the call was on "Overhaulin'"...not "Pimp my Ride"...

WHy do you HAVE to sell the car? You just have a deposit, not the full amount. Give the deposit back when he brings the car back, whether he's got the rest of the money or not. Tell him to [censored] off, you changed your mind. End of it. You're not liable to sell a car until th efull agreement is reached, ex, you have full amount in your hands and the title is signed.

Hopefully, the kid is responsible and doesn't wrap it around a pole, or wreck it...THAT would suck. Technically, your car has been "taken without your knowledge"...I mean your wife isn't on the title, right?? Have her charged as an accomplice ("April Fools right back at ya, Hon  ")...
