How much can I expect to pay for them?
I read about them already and I was already considering them but I wanted to hear from someone who actually owns them instead of just online tire reviews.
1) Tirerack, tires.com etc has prices 2) I had them and loved them. They were just too pricey in 18's to buy myself (my first set I received as a sponsorship)

Well I think I've decided on the Fuzion ZRi's. The KDW2's are priced too high for my budget right now.
KDW2 = $647 shipped but on backorder ZRi = $453.52 shipped and they are having a special on them right now.
Any final thoughts on these?
Any other tires equivalent to the ZRi that I could check out or that might be cheaper but just as good of performance?

nobody mentioned g-Force Sport... I have them on for only a week, so it's too early to give a comprehensive review, but they are supposed to be comparable to KDW. clickyclicky

You know, I just was thinking... the new Azenis are out, so if you can find some old ones they might be cheap!

I am also looking for another set of tires. But here's what I can recommend from my 113,000 miles of driving with my SVT:
1. BFG g-force KDL. By far my favorite tire, handled great, got 55,000 miles easily. Poor in Michigan snow conditions, but then what do you expect?
2. Dunlop Winter Sport 2. These are on my car now. Replacing them as I speak. These were the first tire to turn my car into a somewhat managable vehicle in the snow. Something is wrong with one of them and the car bounces now at high speeds. I'm taking them off and just using them next winter for 3-4 months.
3. BFG Comp T/A. Yuck. [censored] versions of the g-force. Handling and treadwear were much worse. Not a significant improvement in the snow. Got 20,000 miles.
Hope that helps! Anyone else who can recommend a good summer tire for 215.55.16's would be appreciated.

When you say old ones, which particular model are you referring to?

The Azenis sport. They just came out with RT-615, to replace the RT-215.
new
old
The new ones are suppossed to be better in the wet, reach operating temps faster, and not get greasy when they get too hot. Otto's Mini in West Chester has an Auto-X mini with 205/40R15s now, and they really like them. The new tires are also more expensive, so I think more people might get Kuhmo MXs, move up to dedicated 710s, or get these new Hankook Ventus in the other thread for auto-x. I think the Hankook might be the bang-for-the-buck right now.

Well after comparing some of the other tires and prices and things like that, I decided to order the Fuzion ZRi's.
I ordered them this afternoon from Tire Rack for $104 each. Total came to $453.52 with shipping. What suprised me is how Tire Rack called my cell phone about 30 mins after the order to ask about the car and make sure the tire will fit ok because according to there information, a Contour does not fit a 225/40/18 as well as they would like. But I know it will fit so I'm not worried. I just thought it was very professional to call about that and to let me know they are shipping out later that day.
I recommend anyone looking for that same size tire and performance, to order the Fuzion ZRi 225/40/18 now. Tire Rack special is $104 each normally about $150.
I called a bunch of places to get a total for the same order and they all wanted about $550 or more.
Thanks everyone for the help.
