don't know what this little blue box is ... i figured it was the factory amp or the air bag module... would appreciate it if anyone could tell me.

Factory amp is under the glove box, big silver colored piece of junk. I "believe" that is the p.a.t.s module for the ignition. Welcome aboard. I know that you can undo it form the mount and move it if need be, not sure if I would unplug it though, since that might require reprogramming the keys. Welcome to CEG, by the way.

yeah i moved it just didn't unplug it thanks for the help carpepoon... way to make someone want to stay on the boards.. =)

I have one, and no PATS. Must be the airbag. Don't unplug it unless you want to die.

If its airbag controller there must be a Yellow wire tagged SRS!

I remember looking for the SRS wire, could not find it. Assumed the only thing that amde since was the pats module... but thats a pretty big module for such a simple function.

I wanna see where you found this out! Find someone who will back up your statement who has some credibility.
Or post something that says SRS on it cuase all SRS componets have to be labeled!
