btrautman CEG'er B Joined: Nov 2001 Posts: 1,176 Austin, TX.	It is your EGR Vacuum Regulator (EVR) Solenoid. This controls vacuum to your egr valve. The round cap has an air filter in it. These are not very expensive. Bob An ounce of prevention provides a pound of cure!
