BTW - I didn't say anything about learned behavior, but I definately should. I think the nature of any dog is to love. (Sure there's a few outliers). But I think these poor dogs get a bad rep from 4'8" men with a jacked up truck and a small wang...and a pitbull to improve their image.
It's these people (sure I'm stereotyping) that often perpetuate "tough" behavior from their dogs. They're bad owners, no doubt.
Sorry I get so huffy about this topic. I honestly want nothing but the best for this breed, and I certainly oppose blanket bans *cough* Georgia *cough* on these dogs.
