I used to be a cashier in electronics doing sales, stocking, and money handling, which resulted in the money increase. When they forced me to switch departments (wanted me in foods, I said no, I'll be a front-end cashier) they threatened to take it down to only 8/hr, but thankfully didn't. I was going to quit within the week if my paycheck showed a decrease in wages.



Thats why I hate Union.... We get paid to what the Contract says. Service Clerk (baggers/Grocery facers) get paid a certain wage, you can kick ass all you want! But you get the same wage. Maybe you'll get promoted...
