Hood is starting to look good can't wait to see it done, good work.
carbon fiber cowl hoods?
Yeah, but I'd think it'd look better painted.

...and it needs to get rid of the extra "dent" in the cowl scoop portion.

What is it called when they have instead of a scoop...a heat extractor hood?
Cobras have them...as well as Mits Lancer Evo's
I think a Heat extraction hood would look hot on a contour...but there couldnt be any functionality unless it would be right over the radiator...and maybe reloacted a wide filter to the airintake.

There is one....been 2 years in the making. Carbon fiber and all, and the opening is right over the front valve cover. I have one on my car, and it works, you can feel the heat coming out when you put your hand down by the openings. Looks nice too.

But is it possible to modify a metal contour hood to do that?
Carbon is nice, but they are only in California, I cant find any Texas sellers and it costs a lot to have on purchased and shipped to Roanoke.

Am I theonly one or has everyone else noticed how nobody ever post's pictures of their car with that hood on it other then far away, in the dark or blurry pictures from a crapy cell camera. I have not seen one clear well taken picture of that hood on a car to date yet
When the cowl hood came out everyone posted pic's and still do. This hood that took 2 years to come out and for some reason everyone is hiding it or afriad to post pic's...what's up with that. I'd sure like to see some decent quality pic's of tyhis hood on nice cars and not the retarded pic of the guy with his face on a hood drueling like he just had sex with it

No, you're not the only one! For the price of the fiberglass hood, Im really interested. But if I can't find any pics of the hood up close, carbon fiber or fiberglass, then I'll probably end up with the cowl hood. I wanna see the Norcal hood on a car, close up! And if it's fiberglass, I wanna see it painted to match the car. What gives?
