I went out to the yard today to pull the Mystique's new windshield. After about 45 minutes of making up new cuss words, I said [censored] it and called the glass shop.
Since I was there, and I came to buy something, I wandered. I was looking for LED third brake lamp assemblies, mainly for case mods to the `puter. I found a Seville that would have been a good donor for my new taillights, if it had its LED assembly still intact.
Anyway, while wandering, I found a fairly new 300M. I looked inside and noticed it had an overhead compass and an automatic mirror. I snagged the both of them ($4) and headed home. I dug around on the 300M Enthusiasts Forum for awhile and found my wiring diagram for the mirror (3 wires). Then I found that the overhead compass wasnt a compass at all. It is a little computer that displays all sorts of fun info. Tire pressures, distance to empty, temperature, etc. Since there is no way in hell I want to rip into my car's harness that much, I headed to ebay to see if they are sold at all. They are. I believe that I have the earlier model, but there is one up there with a final price of $30. If its the later model, there is one for $150.
My new $4 mirror is so cool.

After I got home from school today, I wired it up. I still need to connect the backup light feed (I still need to fix my backup lights too) but for now, it works and I am happy.
