A car without 'HOT' parts is a car that has been taken care of and NOT abused.
The value of the parts as a whole is less than the parts by themselves. Add up the total $$$ you paid for the stuff. All they are worth, on the car, is 10% of the total cost.....ouch!
So the $100 intake is worth $10 - on the car.

My thoughts exactly. Even IF I saw a car with low Kms, low $$$, "maintained" and newer, I'd prefer one that has been driven by joe blow who has done maintenance and that's it. Bodykits, performance enhancers (not the kind McGuire takes ) and personalization of a car reduce it's wanted-ness and limit the population that would consider it, for reasons ajax said.

And really, how many people think Contour when they want to go fast or look cool.
