Ok, I have one of the biggest systems of the CEGers and I don't have a cap or anything. I listen to my music very loud, almost too loud, and have dimming headlights and such. I have had this system for almost a year now and drive my car everyday and guess what, no battery problems! The best advice I got was from a fellow CEGer (don't recell who) but he said don't bother getting a cap the Contour's alternator is strong enough and is infact on of the strongest alternators put in cars. All my friends told me I would need a cap but I never got one and I've never had any problems, except for pissing off old folks and going deaf.

Hmmm... Biggest???? Maybe one of the biggest as in most crap shoved in one trunk. But in terms of power and capability...I think not.
For starters your amps are:
300W RMS (continuous) x 1 @ 4 ohms, bridged
150W RMS (continuous) x 2 @ 2 ohms
75W RMS (continuous) x 2 @ 4 ohms
Hardly one of the biggest here. Alot of us (myself included) are putting out twice that amount of power.
And on top of that your pushing punch stage 1 subs Those subs are better known for cracking their cheap plastic cone than they are for producing quality sound.

I think I own you all with my 1999 series RF punch 15" 8 ohm powered by this bad boy: MTX "Thunder" 282Yes, that's right... 22.5W RMSx2 @ 8 ohms, or about 45W RMSx1 @ 8ohms. My CD player (Pioneer 7600MP) puts out 22.5W RMSx4 @ 4 ohms... Oh yeah... that's 135W of raw RMS power, or 270W when I'm hittin those max specs, like I always do... Don't hate, I got the biggest system!

Sorry bud, Alpine watches F1 status dealers like fat kids in a candy store. One trans-shipped product and you can lose the contract. But If I had known I was going to get laid off I would have sold you anything you wanted at cost. my old job is tripple [censored] Its ok now though, Im picking apart the company by stealing employees and getting bonuses for doing it
