99.9 % of most FWD cars over the last 10 years have used 'pre packed' and sealed hub bearings....its not a John Deere!!!

I had both front bearings replaced about half a year ago by Ford. Total cost for both was $200 US (covered by 3rd-party extended warranty). My symptoms were a rubbing/rumbling/moaning noise that increased in frequency with speed, but would go away when turning either left or right (I don't remember which now). The dealership ended up replacing both as they thought the other one was on its way out too.
