I find a trusty little shop, where the guys are cool, and they want my business and to take care of the customer. Usually, they're willing to make you some deals when you do a couple things at once, or at least give you honest advice.
rain, I can't be ABSOLUTELY positive it's my bearings without getting in there and looking at them, but i'm 95% sure it is. I took on on-ramp to I-75 really fast and hard, riding the limits of the tires all the way around until merge, and ever since then, when i turn right (it was a long right turn on ramp) at ~50-60MPH, there is a rubbing/moaning noise coming from the front drivers side. I can feel it a little in the steering wheel too. Classic symptoms of a bad wheel bearing. I'm replacing both front bearings at once to save on labor (i hope), and because I figure that if one bearing is going, the other probably is too.
