Rally's, Redline, and now "Checker's" are the same thing, revamped. Oh, and "there" is San Antonio, Texas.

In fact, they opened up a Krispy Kreme in CT, and you would have thought the Pope was visiting or something!! I mean, the day it opened, I think there was like a 2 hour wait to get doughnuts! Crazy.....I still would love a Sonic here- I tried some of their stuff in Phoenix, and it was awesome!!!
ha, about 3 years ago IIRC they started opening up Krispey Kremes in CA and got that same effect. astonishingly, it lasted for at least a year. now you can go and out in about a minute. lame-ass Rick Dees from Kiis FM (formerly anyway) was there one night when we happened to stop by and dumbass people were actually being married in the KK drivethru.
the funny thing is, one guy bought ALL the rights to CA franchises because no one was interested. everyone was thinking, nobody cares about donuts... all i hope is got out before the fervor died down. fresh, HOT KK donuts are soo....
Actually KK only franchises to people in large areas. Once a franchisee takes an area no one else can open one in that neck of the woods. Krispy Kreme prides itself on word of mouth advertisement and wants you to recievwe the same treatment wherever you go, not like a Mcy D's or Bk where your service depends on the owner of the franchisee

I did a little research a little while ago, and found a Culver's 1.5 hours away, I might have to check it out sometime. I should look for a Rally's and Sonic too.

There's an A&W in Jefferson but it's "seasonal" and won't be open yet I don't think.
They have 2 A&W's in El Paso now, one is combined with a KFC and the other is combined with a LJS.
One of the best burger joints in El Paso is a place called Silver Streak.

I did.. and its a regional thing!
Taca Cabana!!! OH MY! EXCELLENT Mexican food, restaurant style, though as fast as fast food. (cheese enchilada, beef enchilada, sour cream enchilada, double rice, beans, homemade tortillas, and a large drink for 3.99... family sized fajitas, homemade tortillas (all tortillas are homemade here) rice, beans, onions, peppers, and toppings (cheese, tomatoes, etc) for 13.00 Fed 5 people with each having 3 to 4 fajitas..
It's WONDERFUL there.. Can I get someone else to back me up on this?
