seriously, you guys in the rest of the country have NO idea what you're missing out on! theyve been in Vegas and Az for quite a few years now and will maybe expand outward even more. this is BY FAR the freshest fast food you will ever find. I worked there back in high school. they get their beed delivered 3x a week! and fresh Kennebac (sp?) potatos. all fresh vegies. the only thing that is kept reallly cold is the the fresh shake mix. NOTHING else. all food is made to order and your typical order can take 5-10 minutes, depending on how busy they are. consequently, usually reallllly long lines. the place is practically a time warp from the 50s. when i worked there, the registers didnt even do the math for you. you input the meal but had to make change in your head, while doing other stuff. they even had a crazy math test just to get the job. they also pay the highest in the industry too. in 1993 i started at $7 an hour there, while the other places were paying $4.25.
interesting fact: they are the only fast food chain to never have dropped their prices OR offered coupons.
if youre ever in CA, LV or AZ i HIGHLY suggest you try it. MMmmm grilled onions..."animal style"

We don't have any of those:(
In fact, they opened up a Krispy Kreme in CT, and you would have thought the Pope was visiting or something!! I mean, the day it opened, I think there was like a 2 hour wait to get doughnuts! Crazy.....I still would love a Sonic here- I tried some of their stuff in Phoenix, and it was awesome!!!

I was on a site that lists nutrition facts for various restaurants, and happened upon Culver's. I go in once in a while for a hot fudge sundae, so I checked that out. Those innocent-looking things have 990 calories and almost 60 grams of fat. I eat a butter burger once in a while and they are so damn good.

Kremit.. being from Tejas.. and having moved to FL.. I wanted one so bad... nearest one is east, in LA, on 12 (the cut-across from I-10, where it drops to go to New Orleans and then back up, it hits I-10 again, 80 miles later. Forget where, but in that 80 mile stretch is the nearest one to JAX, FL..

ha, about 3 years ago IIRC they started opening up Krispey Kremes in CA and got that same effect. astonishingly, it lasted for at least a year. now you can go and out in about a minute. lame-ass Rick Dees from Kiis FM (formerly anyway) was there one night when we happened to stop by and dumbass people were actually being married in the KK drivethru.
the funny thing is, one guy bought ALL the rights to CA franchises because no one was interested. everyone was thinking, nobody cares about donuts... all i hope is got out before the fervor died down. fresh, HOT KK donuts are soo....

Had an IN-N-Out.. I prefer old style Rally's, baby.
Rally burgers, and fries (seasoned fried, not french fries..) are good.. but their trademark is the milshakes.. Sooooo chocolatey that you take the lid off and see SWIRLS of chocolate syrup in the icecream..
BK has the TEXAS SIZE sandwich, its about the only thing there I will eat.
Chick-Fil-A is one of the better places, if only for their wholesome heritage (Christian run (even closed on Sundays), have multiple scholarships, care centers, college grantsm and homes for the needy, etc)
I like Sonic's "Snack Attack" combo... two tacos (MUCH better than Jack in the Box) and a 44oz. drink for like 1.50..

That Runza looks really good. I havent ever tried In-N-Out but will be in Vegas this summer and I will definitely give it a shot. My brother always raved about it when he was stationed in California. -tropictour

I like Chick-Fil-A food... I just think the name reminds me of some nutcase slicing up women.
I still want to try Runzas...

Rally's has that yummy "i want to be bad" kind or metled oozing cheese and grease to it. unfortunately, the only ones i knew of around here closed.
do you guys have Fatburger? wherever you guys are? my friend told me to try the fried egg on cheeseburger and i looked at him like he was a Fear Factor contestant. i tried it and it was pretty damned good! good in a "i might die in 5 minutes" kinda way.
