Are there any mods necessary to get those bulbs to fit in the existing stock lights?

Redhawk, All you have to do is take the old bulb out.

I've had the JC Whitney low beams for about 8 months now and they do look great. And I've had no problems with the higher wattages burning my lenses. I only replaced the low beams because the stock lows were seriously weak. The stock highs seem fine but I may replace them, just for looks.

One question (though it may have already been answered): Do any of you that have the higher-wattage bulbs installed in the low beam and high beam sockets have a relay added in order to accomodate the higher wattages?

If the answer is "no" or "no additional modifications are necessary," then I may need to look into purchasing these bulbs.

I have the PIAA Super Whites on my SVT now; but if I can get the same (or better) brightness (I really like the white light) at one-third of the price just by replacing the PIAAs with these bulbs, then I may be selling my PIAAs too!

Hey has anyone put these bulbs in a 95-97? I am curious to see if you get the same effect or not because I know the light housings defract the light. I do need new bulbs cause my 1.5 year old heliolights give me absoultely no usable light whatsoever. Let me know.

I got mine last week and they are great!!! I only put one, and compared them. BIG difference. I'm sticking to these bulbs. Some people say these bulbs are bad for very dark areas and fogs, but I have regular bulbs for high beams and foglights as well. So, my lights are a great combination for any scenario.

By the way, I noticed that JCWhitney changes their part no. according to what catalogue and it's current part price(if it's on sale or not). So just follow the part no. and other information above as said, to get the right price and item.
