I get nailed for driving the distance that I do for work so if I lived closer it would be even less than that.
I have a girlfriend who has had her licence for many years with no accidents until a couple of years ago, hit a patch of black ice and wrote of her car and she now pays over $3,500.00 a year for her car insurance. Excellent record except for this. So being a woman doesn't always make insurance cheaper.
Having a good driving record does.
