I had the Proxes on my last tour... well, they weren't the +4's. I might look into those, then. Not sure if I have ever heard of KDW's.

The 99+ came with the KD's, which has an outstanding dry grip rating. The KDWs are Dry/wet grip and have the sweetest looking tread pattern

Wrong. NO Contour ever came with BFG KD's. All of the 99+'s came with BFG KDW's.
The only production car I know of that came with KD's was the last year of the Camaro SS's with the SLP package.
Now you can get the KDW2's. I had a set and they were sweet, but very expensive - they pushed into the Potenza S-02 territory for cost.

the KD's were never oem on any csvt.

KDs are nise tires, Thay onle cum on pre 98 svts.
