Agreed
w3rd. Im' sorry, but I don't find Miata's attractive AT ALL. Now that Sky on the other hand, looks like an Opel Speedster which =

Well, unfortunately, GM has not been able to bring over an Opel platform and have the results end up reliable.
They have a lot to prove in the quality deparment when you think of putting the Miata in the crosshairs. Time will tell if they succeed, but I'm not optimistic.
The ION is a downright nasty car inside and out... the redline may drive, but the interior is unsafe, flimsy, and cheap.
It's no Mazda3.

Add in the forced amentities that are going to come with the SS package, say $5-7K for clicking the box? Your still looking at a $25K car with 250HP. No where near what a Boxster costs and on par with what a loaded Miata costs.
GM has a Winnar!
I agree this thing is hott! it hinkit will rock the vert market! They can probably keep the costs lower because its the same engine as the Ion redline, I think output is better though.
Also I prefer the looks over the Miata. Saturn also has one of the best reputations for customer service in the entire auto industry. That will definitely give them some advantage!
I am definitely looking forward to Saturns future!
I recall a few years ago when I worked there, that they had some nice autos up their sleves. I never thought they would come through! Now they need to redo the Vue and they will be sitting pretty! They have the drivetrain right, but the looks arent there.
