Soon to be fixed slow filling TSB

Problems caused by me
Broken Diff
broken CV Shaft
Broken Trans mount

I've got 42,000 now and still going strong

87000kms
Needed new PSpump at 47000kms
No other problems that weren't my fault, or somebody elses

98 GL 2.5 Auto 91,000 Miles
alternator at 84,000
that is it that was the cars fault.
radiator/ac condensor at 88,000
girlfriends fault.

38K: new wires
42K: front rotors
48K: new wires
56K: front rotors no more Ford brakes, damnit
65K: o2 sensors
65K: clean intake, gunked up
66K: all 3 cats
69K: water pump
74K: piston bearing decides to explore cylinder wall, engine shot
75K: alternater
82K: alternater (problem caused by no-tooth hillbilly inbred Ford techs in KY that replaced my engine)
84K: I need intake cleaned AGAIN, wires AGAIN, and mass airflow sensor. Shopping for another car.

Oh, yeah, I will star in gay porno before I buy another Ford. Up yours, Ford Motor Company. I am sure Toyota or Nissan will appreciate another small slice of market share.

Just out of curiosity - to Dusten and DrGonzo - how much for the alternator replacement?

60,000 miles so far and only has to replace this so far....

1 - Motor mount 2 times
2 - shifter housing
3 - power steering pump

About $280 parts and labor. AutoZone lifetime warrenty alternater was about $170.

7000 mi - new transmission and clutch assbly; new dash pad due to bubbling over SRS

8506 mi - new clutch/plate/flywheel due to installation glitch.

9000 mi - rear struts, sway bar due to crunching noise

11000 mi - both headlight assbly due to the headlight alignment bubbles breaking (mental note, don't let anyone slam the hood shut)

11200 mi - fuel pressure regulator stopped working.

14000 mi - both front seat rails replaced due to annoying wobble

18000 mi - both seat rails replaced again

20200 mi - current mileage - horn stopped working, clutch isn't working properly again, plastic trim around instrument cluster needs to be replaced because it doesn't fit the new dash pad.

Long list of annoyances, but I'm still glad I sold the Galant.

-Replaced faulty right rear window assembly (manual windows)
-Faulty fuel pump (27k miles)
-Recall of water pump
-Recall of front crash sensors
-Recall on brake pressure reducing valves
-Loose striker assembly on the right rear door (38k miles)


Not Covered by warranties or Recalls:
-Had A/C recharged twice (damn o-rings)
-Replaced passenger side mirror (twice :D)
-Left sail panel fell off while driving...twice (broken tabs). New one will be here this week. (47k miles)
