Did a serious test drive in a ION - RedLine this past weekend on a coned autocross type course.
I was impressed! Interior was nice, Recaro seats were impressive. Car revved freely! Big 17" wheels with sticky Z rated tires. Plenty of back seat, trunk room.
And the car was quick! I've read reports of 0-60 in the mid 6's and Qtr mile time of 14.6 - 14.8 stock! Shifts were nice and smooth as well.
I drove an '04 and for '05 you can get a LSD in it which will make it handle even better. Add in the Saturn rebates/incentives of $5K and this car is a winner at $17K.
And if you don't like the SKY get a Solstice
