It's possible that the intake could be responsible, but probably not the new plenum by itself. They tune the whole intake system to work together. I'm guessing the played with the computer code to fatten up the midrange on a larger car so it doesn't feel slow.
I've never seen any Mazda6 stock dyno that was that much better than a stock 2.5 SVT dyno, so I don't think much of any of the intake systems shown above.
The basic SVT pcm, cams and intake system on any motor are still the best factory power adding parts around that I can see.
I'd be interested to get the cam specs for the Jaguar 3.0 and 2.5L though.
