u wouldent want to put one from a 96 into a 98.(the 95-97 has crappy wireing that starts to brake apart)... (this next part i am not 100% sure on)if u were to do it. the 1996 doner car would hae to have the same options: 2.5 with A/c, abs and possably tc if the svt came with it( i herd of some 1998 models that had it) and thats if they didient change anything. also the indicator lights are diffrent 1157na for pre 98 and 3somthing for the 98+.
