YEAH!! Cause that is SO MUCH less stressful than running a wire to ground one time, and putting a switch on that..
I, personally.. would rather just do this: Park.. shut off car NORMALLY. flip switch. arm car. Remote start command when ready and car starts as normal. get in and flip switch back to enable cruise (or hell.. leave it off all the time, if you don't have/want cruise..)
If the alarm goes off it won't respond to your RS command? wow. I have NEVER thought of starting my car when the alarm was going off, so that will surely save me some time.
