I bet I can do a scan of your ECU with the chip out and in and procve to you that the Long/Short Term Trim and spark advance are different. If it were as you suggest, hell we could have a set of community "chips" and we could just pass them around so eveyone would end up with a new and improved program - NOT!
I'm a driveline engineer and have 9 years experience. I know how the ECU works better than you (obviously) and I've torn apart and rebuilt more contours than you've even seen.

^^As far as that comment goes, you may not know this but Stazi is one of the best known ceg'er's here and most everyone has quite a high level of respect for him and his car.
The overall thread is just getting stupid now, i think that everyone should just chillax and calm down a bit.
Stazi knows quite a bit about all perameters of the tours, and i believe it, but i guess if you think it's still working, although not possible, then believe what you will.
