To me the old school wheel on the new mustang look cheap - like you ran out of money. It's like when you se kids rolling on really cheesy fugly wheels cos they can't afford decent ones or something. Even thouhg the car is "retro" it can pull off better looking tuner wheels. I'd like to see the new mustang with the multi-spoke Cobra wheels they brought out on the last Cobra, buyt they have to be big at least 19/20" for sure.
The key word here is "like you ran out of money". I didn't run out of money, but did have a budget Stazi. I spent a little over $2K for my new tires/wheels, not braggin', just statin' I will apply what I learned from my Tour and that is this, pick the right wheel first instead of (3) sets of aftermarket rims IMO the "tuner-style" rims you guys speak of look good only if your using a bodykit, like the one in the pic as it adds the "modern look" your talkin' about. As far as the color combo goes, well, I may pick the white w/red stripes so I can keep my red interior, we shall see!
