production/assembly job. Repetitive, often mindless tasks, easy to complete and kinda fun in my opinion.
I made $13/hour during my college summer breaks working for General Electric Aircraft Engines.
That paid for a big chunk of my tuition.
I wore many hats at that place. I did everything from assembly jobs, to inventory for gov't audits, to creating/maintaining parts databases for the assemblers and engineers.
I was an accounting major by the way, so that just goes to show you that GE didn't really care about any prior experience in order to get these jobs done.

My favorite part: wearing jeans and getting dirty everyday instead of wearing stupid suits and skirts or a uniform.
