my brother's friend did it this way one winter. he decided he could have as many cigarettes as he wanted, but he had to stand outside in a t-shirt, barefoot, in shorts to smoke it (in the winter in Maryland). he quit pretty quick

I hear ya, you could move to Canada and get the same treatment. Mother's pull their children away from you when your walking down the street like your a leper or something. The wiener hanging out the pants is pretty funny, I don't think that I would make a face, I would probably fall on the ground laughing. We can't smoke anywhere, not at bars, restaraunts, playgrounds, within 8 meters of any building. Sh*t I'm surprised the O.P.P don't pull me over for smoking in my own F%@#*ng car. BRUTAL! Not that I am saying that smoking is something everybody should do, but it's a god given right to make your own decisions and thanks to all the advertising and addictive qualities of a cigarette people have made the decision to smoke, whether they really want to or not!!!

the best way to quit is to have a good reason why you want to. my mom quit cold when i was just a rug rat because she didn't want her habit to negatively effect my brother and i. my aunt quit because she didn't want her grandkids to think it was ok by seeing her do it. whatever your reason make sure it is a good one. understand what you are getting yourself into...you will have withdrawl symptoms and cravings that make most people give up. in a very short time the physical need for the cigs will be gone and only the mental desire will remain. this part is the real deal killer. get a significant other or close friend/family member involved to help you here unless you have an iron will and think you can go it alone. the most important thing to do is do not give up no matter what.
