here's an calculate how much $ you spend on smokes every month. now just think, you could be pouring that money into your car. satisfaction from having a better ride will probably help your stress level/heart and be beneficial to your heart, as opposed to puffing on chemicals every day.

Just remember its pure will power thats going to get you thru this.

Is this new stuff Jim? I haven't heard of it before.

Ruby's still has a smoking section. I should know cuz I came home last night stinkin' after having to put up with that part of the restaurant for 3 hours.

go cold turkey. but do it on a camping trip. I went away with friends who don't smoke on a canoe trip in algonquin for a week. had my last butt on the dock. the 1st to days were hard when I wasn't doing anything. when I came back, I dodn't have a single craving. I might have broken down if I had opportunity to buy a pack, but I couldn't in the middle of nowhere. smoke free for 5 years...

I don't like/trust prescriptions. My brother was on welbutrin and we weren't really around each other by mom seemed to like it when he was on it but his wife said he was really weird when on them, like he had to be really bad because he's already weird so it must have been bad.

Depends on city ordinance.

Come to statesboro and try to smoke at waffle house. Not gonna happen. Same thing in Albany. In statesboro, you can have a smoking section if you have live music atleast 4 times a year. In albany, I think they may be allowed to have completely separated smoking sections, unless they stopped that too. Smoking of course is allowed at bars. Statesboro (bulloch) is also a damp county so we have to drive ~30 minutes for liquor unless it's by the drink in a bar.

I'll pass on that. Where's the puke smiley? Thanks for at least not saying something stupid to get this thread hijacked. Seriously, I'm not being sarcastic.

Something like the camping idea trip might not be too bad an idea...except I don't have any friends that camp and I wouldn't know where else to go where I couldn't break down and buy them like was said. I'm not really looking at prescriptions or anything so its gonna have to be cold turkey or kind of wean myself off if thats even possible..ha Sadly I haven't had my 'tour for a couple of years so saving the money to mod my car is not really good because noone makes anything for my car. Maybe I'll have to wait until a weekend when I know I'll be home the whole time so I'll have other things to do and nobody to take out my withdrawal aggression on. Might just shoot for this coming weekend. Keep the tips coming if you have them please, and it may help for me to try and keep this updated as kind of a support group for me anyway...so you can mock me if I mess up Thanks again

THIS WORKS!!!

This is exactly how I quite. I was a smoker for 11 years and the last 7 years I was smoking 2 packs a day. Salted sunflower seeds in the shell are great. Throw a handfull in, break open the shell and you'll be busy for hours. One draw back thou after a couple of days I notice the tip of my tounge was kinda raw.
