It was costing my dad $50 to fill his Explorer, which got about 8 MPG. And he was commuting 90 miles a day 4 days a week. I paid $2.25 today for regular. It cost me $28.50 to fill it.

Hence why SUV's should be banned...My mom hasnt touched her Explorer (6 cyl thank you) in about 2 months... she drives a 96 cavalier that gets 40mpg....Even at 25 mpg it hurts to drive the SVT...

~$2.30ish last time I filled up (premium). Premium here really seems to take a 'premium' over regular than other places (regular is under $2). I'm starting to mix 89 and 93 to get 91 so I can keep running my chip but not pay so much.
98.5 SVT
91 Escort GT (almost sold)
96 ATX Zetec (i brake to watch you swerve)
FS: SVT rear sway bar

we should point out that this fuel economy is not normal in any way. virtually all suvs get better fuel economy.

come to think of it my uncles rv pulling the enclosed trailer with the sandrail and quads gets that fuel economy.
